So, yeah, I don't know what's going on, we're just kind of winging this one. But TNT Podcast we are here, we are live, and here DJ turn up the return of DJ Tanaka. Uh, I don't remember if I said that last last uh episode, but DJ Tanaka is back, better than ever, trying to get his life together. You know, spring still kicking his ass right now, but he's making it happen and he's back. Dj Tanaka, how are you doing, sir?

Speaker 2:

So doing all right man.

Speaker 1:

Oh, you don't have to hold the mic, I'm just holding it because I feel like I'm going to have to.

Speaker 2:

No, I have to figure out where I'm going to put this joint. Okay.

Speaker 1:

While he's doing that, I hope everybody's having a good time so far. Shout out to Reese. Is that Reese? I think that's Reese, right, rj? Yeah, shout out to Reese. We are currently. What time is it? We are currently five hours away. Super Bell Out Monday. Hope to see y'all. Hope to see y'all at Bell Out Monday. Shout out to Tanaka. We'll be back in the building. It's been a long time. Shot by Tanaka. How does it feel that you're back at it? How does it feel to be back, man?

Speaker 2:

I feel good. I feel good, man, I miss the people. Let's say it's going to be a good time. I might need to take a little nap before you know, getting them moving and grooving, but uh, yeah, looking forward to it, man, it should, it should be a good time.

Speaker 1:

uh, what activity they showed they won the party oh party yeah, okay, so basically running it like regular bailout one day and then the last hour, they just gonna be shaking ass, I guess. I don't know.

Speaker 2:

I hit up Breezy. He was talking about the activities and all that. So I said what you know? What are y'all, what activity are y'all doing? What's up, man? You got some breaking news. What's up, man? Oh, you got some breaking news. What's up, man?

Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh. Shout out to Breezy for whatever he just said in the group chat. I think that's some old footage. Shout out to A Smooth. We don't talk about it out there. I'm sorry, Go ahead. I hope that's not what I think it is, but go ahead. Well, I hope it is what I think it is, but go ahead.

Speaker 2:

Well, I hope it is what I think it is, but go ahead. Yeah, I asked Breezy what activity y'all doing and then he just said party. I was like oh what? I was like man, I thought y'all was actually doing an activity. Those ones be fun like the Real Life. Marine Life, like an activity, right. Those ones be fun Like the real life, real life.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

You know, daughter ball, that's what they want to do. Then I was joking with him because I was like, oh, what did I say? Oh, kickball. And I was like, just imagine they was playing kickball, bro, good Lord, them folks was busting their ass. And I was like, just imagine they was playing kickball bro. Good Lord, them folks was busting their ass.

Speaker 1:

Oh, that I was about to hit a home run and he just whoo yeah, Drip, need to go ahead and bring it back. Bring it back outside. It looked like they were having a good time last time they had played kickball.

Speaker 2:

I mean, hopefully we get a summer session, yeah, Hopefully you know we're talking about that. But then he would kind of bet that on the idea. Now that I told him about how DeMarcus is chefing up, I think it'd be a good buy.

Speaker 1:

Shout out to DeMarcus, by the way, because I heard nothing but good reviews about his food. Now, granted, it took like three hours to make.

Speaker 2:

However, I heard it was awesome when he finally, you know, got it up and got it up and chefing but I told him I was like now, this time around, you gonna have somebody start the fire while you know, so that joint's all prepped, like I said he needs to get started now, the way everybody was kind of just standing outside.

Speaker 1:

But I mean honestly and truthfully, everybody be chilling outside anyway after Bell Out Monday. So I I mean that wasn't really.

Speaker 2:

I was like, look, man, get that fire good and warm and ready to go so that you can just pot that shit on. Right you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1:

Shout out to Joker checking in. I feel like I haven't seen Joker in a while. Man, I'm busy joking bro for real. Yeah, but what we're not joking about is this next question I'm finna, ask you Tanaka. So how's it feel you've finally been, you've finally been freed from the Uber slaves?

Speaker 2:

How's it feel, man? I feel good, man. I'm still like. I guess, now that I think about it, it's kind of like Prison. You know what I'm saying, cause you know how I'm saying. You know how they be talking about the system conditions, you, yeah, so I'm conditioned because I be feeling like oh, I gotta. And it's like, oh, no, I don't, you feel me, I'm still not used to it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

He's like I can go home. So yeah, or I can stay an extra two hours at the QT with the youngins.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's just nah, it's a blessing, though it's a blessing for real and yeah, appreciate everybody that helped me out. Man, you know, turn up, appreciate your understanding. You know through the situation and um, so, yeah, man, you know it know through the situation and um, so, yeah, man, you know it's uh excited, excited for the future, you know, knock out some new stuff and you know, yeah, man Word.

Speaker 1:

So let's talk about it the um. Shout out to Cascade, the Motherland Party. How do we feel? How do we feel about? What were your thoughts on the about? It. Shout out to Cascade, the Motherland party. How do we feel about? What were your thoughts on the?

Speaker 2:

Motherland party.

Speaker 1:

Shout out to Taufeek, the only one rocking a Shout out to Taufeek, the only one that actually came in some African attire I tried. I mean I ain't got no African shit. I got my Wakanda jersey on. Shout out, long Live Chadwick Bosman. But yeah, african, and shit I gotta. I gotta have my wakanda jersey on. Shout out, long live, uh chad with boss, uh, chad with bossman. But um, yeah, shit, top, top, top feet man. Um, what's funny is about the motherland party, is that, oh, like I didn't realize that we closed at 2 30 so like that, like kind of threw my game plan off slightly and I was like damn, damn, like we can't even I wish it was three, like I had folks that was hitting me that was asking for it to go to a three.

Speaker 2:

But you know, yeah, I don't know, you know, cascade, don't really play. They really run and dip out and all that. So I was like dang, Like I wish it went to a three, honestly, yeah because we have more.

Speaker 1:

We have more to give. It was just like god damn, like we just like god damn like that shit.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I ain't gonna lie y'all that that plan kept getting revised, like in the moment, type joint, you know what?

Speaker 2:

I'm saying because I already had a plan, but it was just always like, bro, like we can't even, we can't even do that, because it's like, because like we reading the crowd and then at the same, bro, like we can't even, we can't even do that, because it's like, because like we're reading the crowd and then, at the same time, like we're trying to match up with our plan, but then we're like it's not really fitting with the people. You know what I mean yeah, so we just like.

Speaker 2:

So, gotta wing it. No, gotta win. Right, gotta wing it. But I thought you, I thought you cut the slow-set short.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and not even to know. The whole night got cut short.

Speaker 2:

I like F-ing mine. We gonna end up on the slow-set. We gonna end up on the slow-set.

Speaker 1:

I look up. I look up, that shit says 228. I'm like wait, what I thought you was cutting this shit it's like it ain't no point at this point. Might as well just run that. You might as well run that bitch, yeah, um, but uh, yeah, man, uh, I feel like that's like the only thing that really happened, uh, in between episodes. Everything else is kinda happened in between episodes. Everything else is kind of pretty much the same as far as I can think.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't know, I don't know you think of anything that happened in between the episodes that you want to speak on.

Speaker 2:

No, I don't think of anything.

Speaker 1:

So, like I said, shout out to everybody buying the merch, appreciate y'all. I will never stop saying that. I appreciate everybody that supports the merch. Um, we are still doing the giveaway. Are these for sale? Are these for sale? Yes, this is. This is a new jacket, dj Turn Up. Uh, it comes in green, red, black and I think that's it. Yep, turn up, ain't no dj like my dj. There you go. I don't know if you can see it. I can't see, but, yeah, that's this is for sale.

Speaker 1:

Uh, the giveaway for the people that don't know is if you buy a merch, you buy some merch. I eventually put your name on a post on the instagram post dj turn appreciation post. Then your name gets thrown in a hat and every month I pick a winner and you get some free merch. The more you buy, the more times you go in. So this week our winner was destiny. Shout out to destiny. Uh, the shorty with the dread she used to work at all american or storm mountain skates she kind of nice slow uh I don't know, I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 1:

Yes, she did, because I think she's one of the uh, I think she's one of the background people on nice, and slow too, if I'm correct, on the on the video. I think I know you somehow. No, you, you know, won't talk. Well, yeah, you, you know her. I'll say that, um, but um yeah so shout out to y'all.

Speaker 1:

Um, before we move on to the question of the day, we're going to see what you guys are talking about on these Instagram notes. This is slowly becoming one of my favorite segments. It's one of my favorite segments. Let me go ahead and refresh this. See if we got any. Make sure we got any new ones. Make sure we don't miss out on anybody.

Speaker 2:

You know what I mean, yeah, I ain't gonna lie, I be reading the. I be reading the. I be reading the Shot by Tanaka ones, the Shot by Tanaka ones.

Speaker 1:

Oh, oh. When you on the page you just go and read.

Speaker 2:

Because that one I feel like is more my DJ Tanaka joint, is like older, so I don't think they're using notes like that for real Right. But the Youngins boy they got a lot to say now an older, so I don't think they're using notes like that for real right. I'm saying but the youngins boy, they got a lot to say. Now no idea, I don't know. It's very interesting to see all right, of course.

Speaker 1:

First and foremost, we have karina. What's karina? Oh, she bumping that sideways. We probably put her on with Kadif.

Speaker 2:

I guess that's a big record Because, I'm not going to lie, I keep seeing a lot of folk pop. That record have you? Yeah, I haven't really heard the song. I have the song. I've heard it maybe once.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I heard it. I'm not going to lie, it's not one of my favorite JT records. I would definitely take no Bars over Sideways.

Speaker 2:

It's hot arena. Yeah, is she really effed with that?

Speaker 1:

Is that just her mood right now?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you know what I mean, right.

Speaker 1:

Up next we got Dashia. Yeah, we not even close to beating them. Was there a game that just happened? Know you, you're a sports head, so you probably know is there. Was there like a game that was done last 24 hours? I think notes are like 24 hours yeah, she said we not even yeah, we not even close to beating them.

Speaker 2:

No idea what that means yeah, I don't think I know that one. She did post a note that, like I knew what she was talking about, like it was on some like, if you know you know, oh, and this wasn't it no, no, it was actually based off, was it the?

Speaker 1:

Was it the Shaken Bones?

Speaker 2:

thing. Nah, it was based off the Saturday late night. It recently happened, gotcha.

Speaker 1:

Gotcha Alright, let's see. Shout out to Taufique Someone sell me some AirPod Pros. Ladies and gentlemen, taufique needs some AirPod Pros, so if you are selling them or know anybody that's selling them, hit Taufique up at I forget his Instagram name, hold on, let me see. Let me see if I can hit him up at T-A-O dot F-F-E-K. If you know anybody selling some AirPods, some AirPods, go ahead and hit him up. Let's see. Shout out to Hershey why she get into that bag. I'm assuming that's what that means. I don't know, I'm old, so I don't. Yeah, is that? This is just a business bag, it's a suitcase it's like a suitcase.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's what that looks like, but yeah, nah, she um she in work mode for real.

Speaker 1:

Oh she, yeah, she in work. I tell you she met my mom.

Speaker 2:

At Starbucks. Yeah, I need to tap in with her, but really I got to hold off just because of what we're working on.

Speaker 1:

Right. What was the wait? What did you need to work with her for? Is that something we talked about oh just braids. Oh got you, got you, got you. Okay, well, cool, we're moving right along. So question of the day. So Tanaka I got. This isn't the question of the day, but this is a follow. This will be a pre-question for the question of the day. Um, no, playing GA. Don't trust no niggas. 400 degrees. What do those three songs have in common?

Speaker 2:

No Playing GA Trust, no Niggas and 400 Degrees. Yes, yes, I'm going to guess that they all came with music videos super late. Ding, ding ding.

Speaker 1:

My boy Tanaka.

Speaker 2:

See he be knowing.

Speaker 1:

See, that's why we're like friends. So that's my question of the day. I didn't know that about you.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so he came out with it late and it's's like and I could tell that it's more like like because he's older. It seems like it's more like towards football. So, like his, his, the video is like him, like at the georgia, the georgia, uh, the georgia stadium, not like uh, the football, not the, not the like nfl football. Somebody has said come like. Okay, like all these folks coming out with all these old songs and music videos, usher, come on, man. We need that. We need that lovers and friends, and that's the one that came.

Speaker 2:

That's the one that came on came to mind, but I was thinking about it. I'm like do I really want to like? I don't know, that's a different book, wait drip.

Speaker 1:

I thought you were coming. What happened?

Speaker 2:

we was waiting on you yeah, that's I don't know cause Lil Jon look kinda different now.

Speaker 1:

I mean he does, but so does, so does Juvenile, and Juvenile ain't even on that type of like. If you see the video, the video is funny because it's like it's just him and Manny Fresh.

Speaker 2:

I got you.

Speaker 1:

Drip you there. You're standing outside at the door. Yes, oh, say something.

Speaker 3:

I called Tanaka. He answered his phone Well.

Speaker 1:

D. Well, drip, he told you to call me and I told you to call me. Yeah, his phone is the live. Oh, okay, he's coming. So, yeah, so, um, while he goes, gets, uh, jayla mccoy, um, I'm trying to think so for me. I know I was always a fan of, like storytelling shit, so I'm not gonna lie, I would want, like ice cube, to come out with a. He had an older song called once upon a time in the projects and I always felt like that should have had a video because I feel like that would have been a dope. Uh, that would have been a dope process for you for them to come up with. But yeah, man, if y'all think of any older songs that y'all feel like, go ahead and let us know. I'd be interested to hear how you feel. Shout out to Love After on the check-in. Took you long enough, boy. Why you stand like that. What is what do you got going on? Alright Tanaka, where are we putting him at?

Speaker 2:

I use his next to you. Okay, let me throw this right here.

Speaker 1:

Shoutout to Drip Drop on the check-in. Um, yeah, you guys, you guys screwed over, I think. I don't know, it's kind of late, so we gotta that. I guess we gotta wait to see if we actually see you, but um, so drip. The question of the day is um, what are some older songs? I know you don't really pay attention to music videos, but fuck it. What are some older songs? I know you don't really pay attention to music videos, but fuck it. What are some older songs that you feel like the artist should come out with a music video now?

Speaker 3:

hell shit, I don't know, I don't give a fuck what's the?

Speaker 1:

Tim Drill has a video already, sir we're talking about?

Speaker 2:

we're talking about re-release it.

Speaker 1:

Now, that shit would be that shit would be nasty because like videos nowadays are fucking disgusting um shout out to malik checking in um.

Speaker 2:

So is there any cheesy song that you feel like they didn't have a music video but like?

Speaker 1:

no, it don't, and he's probably never gonna come out with a video for that he fucking. Yeah, I would definitely be interested to see what that look like, though Even his own mama know Roger Davis a bitch. What about Tootsie man? I know you know all these Tootsies. What about Euphoria?

Speaker 3:

What about?

Speaker 1:

Euphoria. What about Euphoria, euphoria?

Speaker 2:

Well, Tanaka, was there anything else besides Lovers of France? Let me think I'm trying to get some ideas.

Speaker 1:

I'm trying to get some ideas. I ain't gonna lie.

Speaker 2:

I'm trying to get some ideas.

Speaker 1:

I ain't gonna lie, I definitely feel like Jeezy should have came out with a video For Bottom of the Map. Oh, that would have made him feel better. Yeah, that would have been a good one. I don't know why. Well, it's probably because it wasn't a single. That's probably why he didn't come out with a. You know that either, it would be five. Uh, neil came out with a video for mirrors. Yeah, that would be, that'd be vicious, that'd be, that'd be crazy yeah but no, I'm not gonna lie um.

Speaker 2:

We got shaw's lavender, but um, we gotta think like some fire album cuts that like why didn't they release a? Single title oh there you go.

Speaker 2:

I will say Young Guns. On their second album the record they got was 112 Slim. It was supposed to be a single but it only had one single on the album. The second one was supposed to be a single but they never like it only had one single on the album. The second one was supposed to be the Lady Joint, you know, and apparently like LA Reid was going crazy on the record, but you know how that politics be. You know, like Swizz had a better relationship with Jay-Z who was head of you know, the label at the time, so that's why they went with that.

Speaker 2:

The single that he produced, as opposed to the original.

Speaker 1:

So, yeah, don't keep me waiting, don't keep me, oh, okay, yeah, I feel like we just watched that video a couple days ago, right, yeah, I remember that. So, to wrap this up, drip, I got one more question for you. So let's say, you have any budget in the. You have any budget, any, whatever. If Drip King were to go in his vault and pick out one of his songs to do a music video, for which one would it be? Oh, I, already know.

Speaker 2:

Let me answer this You're gonna answer it, okay.

Speaker 3:

Pop the model. Okay so what would be second? Damn bro, I have a lot of songs. That's crazy.

Speaker 1:

You do have a lot of songs. I have mine, but I'm going to tell you mine after you.

Speaker 3:

I already know what you might say. You're probably going to say uh Damn, was that something that you'd be playing?

Speaker 1:

No, not that one. No See, look, I wouldn't even say that. I would say but that would be dope too Damn.

Speaker 3:

Well, I'd say Ghetto Angel.

Speaker 1:

Ghetto Angel. Oh, damn uh, why I say ghetto angel. Oh, that's the one about uh, your pops right, yeah, yeah, that'd be a dope one. No, I was actually gonna say dirty ass bitches. That's what I was gonna say. I feel, I feel like. I feel like you get correct, I feel like you can get creative with a video like that robot.

Speaker 2:

Oh lord what you gotta say, not a scammer bro, scammer would be dope, scammer would be fire.

Speaker 1:

I feel like we should go on Edgewood and just find some. Oh, go to Gold Rush, shout out to Gold Rush. Yeah, nah, scammer would be hard, I don't know. The first thing that popped in my head is uh, is the she a Winner video Like Trouble? I feel like it would be like that. Oh yeah, yeah, just in front of, just just get a whole bunch of females, just have them shake ass. They do, you're right, and that's the video.

Speaker 1:

But ain't gotta do too much, all right, so that's our question of the day. We're going to move on to Guess the Bars. So, ladies and gentlemen, if y'all know what guess the bars is, we give out some bars to each other and we read them out. Since we have drip with us, we will do three, three and three. And if you, um, oh, you read them out and you rate it on the f scale, which is five to one fire, ferocious, flat, frisbee, fecal. Try to figure out who it is. And yeah, we'll go from there. Fuck it up in my hand. Oh see, tamaka, that's why you're my dog, bro Drip Drop says you the guest. I'll let you pick first. I ain't gonna lie, bro, there's probably not a lot of Jeezy or nothing in here, so have fun. Good luck. You don't gotta put it too close to your mouth because it's gonna be distorted.

Speaker 3:

Alright, it says I'm a a sick fuck, I like a quick fuck, I like my dick suck. I'll buy you a sick truck. I'll buy you some new tits. I'll get you that new truck. Oh, that nip truck. My bad, how you start a family. The condom slipped up.

Speaker 2:

You wrote those right there, right.

Speaker 1:

It's a drip king.

Speaker 3:

I've heard this before. I said it a bit flat.

Speaker 1:

Okay, I don't even got to look. Look at it. I already know what that is, but that's um, you want to take a guess before I, before I tell you what it is?

Speaker 2:

think about it shit yeah, I feel like that's who I can't think of.

Speaker 3:

No I can't so that's um.

Speaker 1:

That's kanye. That's awful. I love it. You're such a fucking hoe.

Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, I love it.

Speaker 1:

When was the first time you heard that drip?

Speaker 3:

Shit High school, high school.

Speaker 1:

You were in high school, I thought you were oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure 2018, right 2018? I feel like that was totally 17. I don't know what that up. Look that up.

Speaker 1:

I don't know, I see we got come on, buddy, come on, refresh, refresh, refresh. There we go. All right, all right, let's see. Yeah, walking down, believe them, with that stick, extra bullets in my jumpsuit, I can't wait to let it hit. V12 barking down that street. You know that BK pull-off, smashing, shoot the cameras out, won't walk them down. Nobody knows what happened Lakewood.

Speaker 1:

I don't know why he diss dissing mari like we don't know where he stay, fully drake, bumped out the ga, slot the parts right, no plate. Niggas know we od crashing. Okay, so I'm gonna assume od crashing. My baby kia pulled through the max and worked that k. His mama swore he was good, a good child. As soon as the little boy get faced, yeah, I'm gonna say od crashing, because it says od crashing Crashing in it and he just sung the whole word to it. I know that's one of his favorite Baby Kia songs Child of Papa. Tonight I'm going to check in, let's see. I'm going to give it a. I give it a flat ferocious for the intensity. It's really just intense and he has all the cheering behind him. If you get the cheering behind you, you're going to make some money. First time I heard OD Crashing was actually through DJ Breezy. Actually because he had told me about the OD Crashing song. No, he had told me about it.

Speaker 2:

Nah, Breezy do be tapping in a lot.

Speaker 1:

I don't know about that, but he had got it from off of YouTube and he was like oh yeah, I got a Baby Kia song. It's called Odie Crashing.

Speaker 2:

The clean version's on YouTube and I was like, oh cool. So, further on that, how did he like one of the kids asking to play the song Probably, or what made him go get that one Probably?

Speaker 1:

I didn't ask him, but yeah, no, that's how I found out about it. I got you.

Speaker 2:

That's how I found out. Yeah, I think that's why I like him. He shout out Lakewood, cleveland, bankhead. Oh yeah, he started shouting out on the streets. Right, there was one more, wasn't it Probably?

Speaker 1:

I vaguely remember that record. I'm not going to lie to you. I vaguely remember that record. I'm not gonna lie to you.

Speaker 2:

Ninjas always wanna smoke and be cool. I'm real quiet but the turn is. In the room At the function smell like weed and perfume. With my bitches where the hoes were the food that's a flat frisbee that's the lowest tanaka will ever go, but I mean it's just kind of. I mean, he described the scene, but it's not too like. You know, there's nothing in that. Yeah, it's, it's really just. You know, just want some chill, which sometimes you need. Um, yeah, I don't know who this is.

Speaker 1:

You say you don't know who this is. Nah, no, guess, mm-mm. So that was um a song called Sticky Icky. It was by uh Sexy Red. So that was um song called sticky icky. It was by uh sexy red. Have you ever heard sticky icky by sexy?

Speaker 2:

red. It is not. Is that a single? That's single and it's not a single? I don't, you don't know, sexy right like that yeah yeah, by the way, let me put that.

Speaker 1:

I'm gonna just put this out there sexy red, go ahead and get cash camp. They fucking roses. Like I don't know. I don't know why you installed their dance and you don't want to mention them. I don't know if it's because they just super underground. But Six of Red, I'm going to give you Cash Campey roses. You know it's crazy, dictated, not red, dj Turner, that's your own sport.

Speaker 2:

You knew about it, about what that's your own sport. What do you mean?

Speaker 1:

he was supposed to be. Oh, I think you told me that.

Speaker 3:

What? The video? Yeah. Why didn't they do it? Why would you say no?

Speaker 2:

Well, they canceled that minute or something.

Speaker 3:

Sexy Red? Probably. Yeah, I don't know. What can they do at 10th Street? Yeah, I would think so. Golden Globes, that's what.

Speaker 2:

I'm saying I don't know why.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

I don't know if it's because Ty was in the video, I don't know.

Speaker 1:

Who, oh Ty, was in the video. He was Okay, I saw CeCe. I didn't see the video. I've seen that CeCe girl that was at Super Bowl. What's up, though? Where you going to, sir Round two Give him some JZ, give him some Diddy.

Speaker 2:

That's so crazy. That's like insane. Took a couple shots of Remy.

Speaker 3:

I'm smoking awesome loud. I'm a mad dog-ass bitch. I just get wild. It's a bitch from the trenches. So I got a slick mouth, face up, ass down. Now we hitting doggy style, Something like some sexy red shit probably.

Speaker 1:

Wait, can you say that one more time?

Speaker 3:

I'm bad bro, I'm sorry. Took a couple shots of Remy. Now I'm smoking on some loud. I'm a dog, ass bitch off the Henny. I just get wild. Just a bitch from the street, the trenches. So I got a slick mouth, face up, ass down. No, we hitting doggy style.

Speaker 1:

That definitely sounds like some sexy red.

Speaker 3:

Let's see Flat frisbee.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you were actually right, that was sexy red. What are the odds that she pulled the obvious sexy red? Apparently it's off. Apparently. Do you remember that one margarita song? I don't know, it was a song I was popping on? Tiktok, give me one margarita maybe maybe I don't fucking know, I don't't know. I just remember the song off TikTok Alright, we're going back to back.

Speaker 2:

Sexy red.

Speaker 1:

Back to back. Sexy red, what lies it up? Alright, shout out to sexy red. Like I said, cash Camp, give them they roses. I don't know if they too underground for you, but go ahead and do your homework. Alright, and I'm back on my grind.

Speaker 1:

A sidekick read my lifeline, told me in my lifetime my name would help light up Chicago skyline, and that's why I'm seven o'clock, that's prime time. Heaven, heaven, to watch God calling from the hotlines. Why he keep giving me hotlines. I'm a star. How could I not shine? How many ladies in the house? How many ladies in the house without a spouse? Something in your blouse got me feeling so aroused.

Speaker 1:

Chicago, it was referenced. So I'm assuming this is like a 2000s artist, because this don't sound like no Chicago drill. So I'm going to'm gonna go. It wasn't twisted, because he don't rap that. He doesn't rap like that. Um, I'll probably say I wouldn't even say common, but if it is common, it's a common feature, or like oh, yay, um, I don't know, but that that was, yeah, that was. I feel like that was like the definition of flat. It was just nothing. It wasn't bad, but I could hear it on a. If I didn't know that it was somebody from Chicago. I probably would have said J Mills or Gutter, gutter or some shit. But you know, whatever Tanaka, what do we? Got Kanye West? I won this, got you okay. So it makes sense, like I said, mm yeah, you heard it yes, uh, the?

Speaker 1:

how did I hear, I wonder, cuz I definitely that's graduation, right? Yeah, I definitely wouldn't hurt. I didn't hear graduation, so I honestly don't know. I probably just heard it in passing. Okay, so we're getting sexy red again.

Speaker 2:

Let's see what we got. Okay, you all just got it Right Now, would you think it's? So I try to let you go Turn on my blinker light and I swing it slow and they'll set the show because they think they know that they catching me with plenty of the drunken dro. Do that one more time. I'm sorry now, would you think it's? So I try to let you go turn on my blinker light and then I swing it slow and they upset for sure, because they think they know that they're catching me with plenty of the Drunken Joe. I'm going to guess that it's a Houston artist. I mean, it's flat. You know it's flat. You know it's straight.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to say zero not going to lie, I definitely thought you would have got that. No, that was actually your boy Chameleon Air, that's off of Ride and Dirty. Definitely would have thought you would have got that. No, that was actually your boy chameleon there, that's awful, riding dirty. Definitely would have thought you would have got that. Yeah, I wouldn't kiss, okay, then got you. So what's the first time you heard riding dirty?

Speaker 2:

um, I think it was actually off. The album cut. Then the single came out later, right after the album drop was turn it up on um that album, then yeah, probably because I ain't you know, I just heard the album and uh heard that record, I didn't think it was like I didn't think it would blow up single worthy yeah. Well, I didn't. No, I just didn't think it would blow up to like be that, you know, because I. I enjoyed the whole album, but I didn't think it was going to be like that Far.

Speaker 1:

His moneymaker.

Speaker 2:

The white folk know that joint for real. That's the song that when you think of chameleon, you think of Rotten Dirty. I think I personally turn it up more.

Speaker 1:

Turn it up. Turn it up is such an interesting record because that's the last glimpse of Will Flip. Right Before, like he just yeah, yeah, before he just goes up under All right, round three, drip, drop.

Speaker 3:

Let's see what you got there you go Big ass drip, big-ass drinker, big-ass cig. I fuck this bitch. We made a flick. I'ma smoke me an op just like a cig. I'ma cut that bitch. She not my kin trying to fuck two hoes. I think they twins.

Speaker 2:

Sounds like some drip can Nah I hear nah, nah, my drip don't smoke, c's bro shit, I can see.

Speaker 3:

I say uh, uh frisbee. I don't know what this is, though I don't know.

Speaker 1:

Telling you. I want to give you a guess. So that was Playboy Cardi. You're not fucking with Playboy Cardi, bro Bro it Cardi, bro Bruh, it's Atlanta, bruh, it's Atlanta. Bro Vee Westwood, you ever heard of that one? No, why, you don't fuck with Cardi Drip. That's Atlanta, bruh, that is Atlanta. He's from Atlanta. What was these? From Philadelphia, though.

Speaker 2:

The ASAP Rocky, and that too yeah.

Speaker 3:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

All right. When I dream of fairy tales, I think of me and Shelly. See, she's my type of hype. I can't stand when brothers tell me that I should quit chasing and look for something better. But the smile that she shows make me a good, make me a go-getter. I haven't gone as far as asking if I could get with her. I just play it by ear and hope she gets the picture. I'm shooting for her heart that my finger on the trigger. She could be my broad, but I could be her nigga.

Speaker 1:

I have no idea who this is. Yeah, this is another flat one. I feel like that could be anybody. Honestly, that's just another flat. I feel like that Kanye West, I Wonder, joint and that could be like back to back. We could make like back to back. We could make it a whole song. I have no idea who that is who we got the Far Side Passing Me by. Yeah, you definitely wouldn't have got me on that one. I know little to nothing about the Far Side. You know that song, though Passing Me.

Speaker 2:

By.

Speaker 3:

Passing.

Speaker 2:

Me by.

Speaker 1:

If I heard it, I'd probably.

Speaker 2:

The beat is one of the classic Classic. Okay.

Speaker 1:

I'm not going to lie, I'm not big on far side. Where are they from again?

Speaker 2:

No side boy. Are they from Cali?

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, I don't know. I'm very little on, oh you know, passing Me by when they from again Are they from Cali.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, I'm very little on, oh you know, passing Me by.

Speaker 2:

What you know about Passing Me by.

Speaker 1:

I don't know what's your favorite far side song Drip.

Speaker 2:

Oh, kevin, as Ninja stopped buying that girl a toy burst. It's like you ran up while you was on the slab and put in work, got that girl all out of season. Why you ain't Gucci her Flut around, kid her out with that strong back. Now she say her Gucci hurt, god damn. Say her coochie hurt, god damn. I don't know why.

Speaker 1:

When I said that coochie hurt, I thought drip was saying that that definitely I didn't want to say it back to back, but that definitely sounded like some drip Shout out to O4 on the check in.

Speaker 2:

Oh, that's funny. Oh, kevin didn't stop buying that girl. Tori Burch. Say he ran up while he was on set and couldn't work. Got that girl all out of the seat while he ain't Gucci girl, fuck around, kiddo that. Sean Beck. Now she say I'm Gucci girl. Say you ran it up while you was on the slab putting work. I mean, I guess another houston artist talking about on the slab. I'm gonna just say Slim Thug so no, you're actually double wrong.

Speaker 1:

It was Real Boston Richie. It's off a song called I Want you. Do you listen to Real Boston Richie?

Speaker 2:

No, I only heard that one song.

Speaker 1:

The Bullseye joint yeah. Drew, what's your favorite Real Boston Richie song?

Speaker 3:

I don't listen to him. Who do you?

Speaker 1:

listen to you, don't even listen to him. What's your favorite song off his new album?

Speaker 2:

Track 18. Track 18.

Speaker 1:

he like, he like that glory feature what's the name of the last album?

Speaker 2:

what's the name of the last album? White collar man anyway, we about to move on to the.

Speaker 1:

We about to move on to the. Uh, we about to move on to the. Uh, what's next? Hall of fame? Yeah, hall of fame. Um, I'm not going to lie to y'all, I'm going to just keep it moving. I don't remember what I picked, I just remember he picked black women. So there was no. He won, you won. By the way, he did win. All right, shut the fuck up, you won by the way, he didn't win, all right.

Speaker 1:

Shut the fuck up. You knew Black Women was going to win, like, and I just love how you like to play clueless Like. Why is Karina on here? Is she not Black Like I? So she's not Black at all. Karina, if you're on here, defend yourself. But, um, yeah, so who go? Karina, if you're on here, defend yourself, but, um, yeah, so who's going? Who go first? Tanaka, me or drip, uh, drip, drip. So we got the hall of fame coming up. Pick some shit to be on the hall of fame. Glocks, glocks. Why are we picking?

Speaker 3:

Glocks cause it's the best hand gun to be made. Is it really? I don't. I don't Glocks. Why are we picking Glocks? Because it's the best handgun To be made.

Speaker 1:

Is it really? I don't, I don't, okay. So what would be, is there?

Speaker 2:

As you. How. So how many different Types of guns have you tried out? Like?

Speaker 3:

I tried out Glocks, six Tauruses. I just got a P80. That's it really. It's about four, so do you have?

Speaker 1:

Do you own a? I just got a P80. That's it really it's about four. Do you own a Glock? Yeah, oh, okay. Wait, how many guns do you have? If I can talk about that, four, oh okay. I didn't know if that was what we were going to talk about. Cool, well, all right, cool, we got Glocks.

Speaker 2:

You know, that's what a's yelling at you about.

Speaker 1:

You're right, they call me DJ Vlad. I'm just playing DJ Vlad. Let's see what did I pick? Ah, I do remember what I picked. So my nominee for the TNT Podcast Hall of Fame is the music video for Chris Brown's Take you Down. The reason why I choose that video is, bro, when I tell you that song, I ain't gonna lie. That video is like a marketing genius. It's like genius. Right At that point, chris Brown didn't really have a lot of sexual songs. Well, I don't think he had any sexual songs at the time and the way they did it was like he was kind of going from like kid to like kind of young adult type thing. And when he did it and I know this was you, do you know about his video for take you down?

Speaker 1:

that's the concert joint yeah, I know how much you love those. What are you talking about, anyway? Um, so, yeah, so like it was a marketing genius because at that point, chris brown, he had girl songs. Obviously he's a singer, but like he's never had like a sexual song. So from him to go from kid to adult and then they finally had Because you know, the girls still like him whether he had a sex song or not. So the fact that he actually came out with a sexual song and then he was doing all that fucking gyration on the fucking that little spinning, it had all the girls at the time in a chokehold, stupid chokehold.

Speaker 2:

When did this come out? When did the video come out?

Speaker 1:

I want to say this is, I want to say, the second album. So 2006 or seven? No, I felt like seven or eight, maybe not like seven or eight, which is actually funny. This was like my like first memory of all american, because this is when I was like, when I was like first coming to all american. But I used to come to all american not to skate. I never skated, I always went there because they had the little parties at the end on saturdays.

Speaker 1:

I remember they played that and like all the girls were singing word for word, like screaming at the top of their lungs, like that shit was crazy. But um, yeah, bro, that video had had women, had girls in the chokehold, like we couldn't. We couldn't talk to girls because like all the girls were talking about chris brown and then he was shirtless and doing the fucking take you down. I don't know, I don't know, I do that shit no more. But anyway, that's my nominee, chris brown, take you down. Music video. Yeah, that's what I have, all right, so Tanaka, what we got dark chocolate dark chocolate.

Speaker 1:

Why are we going with dark chocolate Tanaka?

Speaker 2:

I'm a fan of dark chocolate and I realized that that's like a very acquired taste. Like not everybody, like some folks looking crazy, like bro, you got that bitter ass, nasty shit yeah I ain't gonna lie, that shit. That was saying, yeah, that shit. Not a lot of folk like that, but I I'm fucking it.

Speaker 1:

So you know you fuck with dark chocolate d DJ Drip. No, yeah, I had a lot of shit. I'm nasty. I will take it over eggs, though Eggs fucking terrible, I'm sorry.

Speaker 2:

But yeah, you eat eggs bro.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

I eat boiled eggs, pomegranate, all that shit man, it's haunted, you got some eggs, that shit is. You want to make some boiled eggs that? Shit man, it's haunted you got some eggs, that shit yeah, let's go ahead, bro.

Speaker 1:

We're gonna make some honcho, bro. Let's go ahead. Let's bring back the tnt. We on the hall of fame, we on the fame subject, might as well shout out the honcho. Let's make some honcho chicken, bro, nah I gotta bring that back.

Speaker 2:

I ain't okay. I haven't shut up, period. I didn't shut up, yeah.

Speaker 1:

So how did you get introduced to dark chocolate?

Speaker 2:

What was your earliest memory of dark chocolate? I don't know. I just know that whenever I go eat cheesecake, I'm getting the dark chocolate cheesecake. Mm-hmm, you know what I'm saying For sure. So I might actually get that joint before.

Speaker 1:

why not, crazy man, you doing, you doing a party yeah look, just don't be playing that love song, so they'll be like this ain't a slow set, look bro that shit was so funny, bro. Karina came to the dj booth she was like look, hear me out, I'm not saying this, but they're saying that it's getting boring. They're saying that we should play some like fuck it, I don't care, play it, I don't care, do a slow sit, I don't care, fuck it, do a slow sit anyway.

Speaker 2:

So I wish I was there for that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you should have been there for that. It was a lock in. Oh, saturday it was a lock-in.

Speaker 2:

Oh Saturday.

Speaker 1:

It was a late night.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, late night Saturday, I saw a thing while I wasn't there.

Speaker 1:

That's why Probably Ubering, but now he's finally free. He was at.

Speaker 2:

Metro, oh gosh.

Speaker 1:

Were you.

Speaker 2:

I haven't.

Speaker 1:

Makes sense. Yeah, probably Makes sense. Shout out to Tish checking in. What was I about to say? Oh, so yeah.

Speaker 2:

But yeah, first time I tried it. I can't recall, but I don't know, I really why, I don't know, dude. Nah, it's probably not the first time I tried it. I know I was selling candy bars candy bars, though, like back in high school, oh word. Yeah, we had a um orchestra trip to new york, but like I've never actually tried any of those candies.

Speaker 1:

Are they just good? Are they good? Yeah I mean I get the caramel oh yeah, yeah I've never tried them ever.

Speaker 2:

No, they value. You know what I'm saying, yeah, okay, oh cool, yeah, all right.

Speaker 1:

Well, ladies and gentlemen, we're gonna put that on the. Uh, we'll put that on story. Let y'all vote. Glocks take you down. Music video chris brown and dark chocolate. We're gonna let y'all vote on that and we're gonna keep it moving um.

Speaker 1:

We got next song of the day is a song from like 2008. There's not a lot of information on this. It might be brief. This is a song by uh, kendrick, kendrick lamar, where when he maneuvered from k dot to kendrick lamar and he had a mixtape which is really like a compilation mixtape it really didn't, it wasn't really official called calm the state of mind, one of my favorite songs, called lmao. It's interesting to hear this song now because kendrick really doesn't. It wasn't really official. It's called Compton State of Mind. One of my favorite songs is called LMAO. It's interesting to hear this song now because Kendrick really doesn't have a lot of flex talk music, but it's interesting to hear him talk about Diamonds on my Neck and In the Club. It's a very interesting song, but it still has Kendrick vibes on it. Very interesting song.

Speaker 2:

Question Tanaka have you ever heard this song called lmao by Kendrick Lamar?

Speaker 1:

I don't think so. He said, uh, he said it was a mixtape. Mixtape song. Right, yeah, it was always off. Uh, there's a mixtape called constant state of mind, but it was an unofficial. It was like an unofficial, so I don't know if that means that kendrick didn't make it or if these were just a whole bunch of demo songs or like just songs that didn't know I've heard of that tape.

Speaker 2:

I don't think I've heard that song. I think I want to say big Steve was one else home, okay um, I want to see.

Speaker 1:

Do I have any other? It was track number four off a comp, the state of mind, and it was on the sample on it was creamy and sugar by captain sy. It's captain sky. Have you ever heard? Have you ever heard of that? Yeah, what's your favorite song by captain sky? Shout out the musical chef on the check-in. But yeah, no, so, um, yeah, kendrick lamar. Uh, lmao, there's not a lot of yeah, like I said, there's not a lot of information on it. I tried to find, like, who the producer was and all that. I couldn't find shit on this song. But yeah, if you're looking for some, if you're looking for some different Kendrick, like, it's like real young Kendrick but he still has like lyrical ability, like, but he's like flex talking at the same time. It's very interesting time for kindred. But yeah, that's my other song of the day. Y'all check that out lmao kindred gomar.

Speaker 2:

Side note you going to bring back that kickball bro.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I might. I think Louie and them doing some shit, though they're doing that field day shit Tonight. Nah, I don't know, it's when, I don't know. They're doing something with Flying Street though.

Speaker 1:

At Stone Mountain.

Speaker 3:

I don't know where it's going to be at.

Speaker 1:

Oh, oh shit, they're going to bring back oh.

Speaker 3:

Oh shit, Bring back K-Boy. Oh shit, no offense I mean no offense.

Speaker 1:

We talking about that. We talking about Bell on Monday. What are we doing at Bell on Monday? That's what we talking about.

Speaker 3:

In the summertime, yeah, oh, okay.

Speaker 2:

That is, we're going to be DJing, bro, djing, and doing the field day shit.

Speaker 2:

Because the the market's going to have the uh, the shit outside. It's going to be a whole vibe, right? Um. Album of the day um, go with kendrick lamar, section 80. Yeah, this was my introduction to kendrick for real. Uh, I felt like I was one of the few people that actually knew his music when he came and performed at my school. I was hella hyped, but he had a song, high Power. That was one of the main singles. Ironically enough, that joint was produced by J Cole. You knew that.

Speaker 1:

I drink my water. I drink my water. What, wait? The whole album was no, no, no, high Power, oh, high Power. No, I didn't know that yeah.

Speaker 2:

So I just find that interesting, because obviously Current state. Yeah, all the folks that heard the recent verse from Kendrick, but yeah, he was just always creatively dope to me, you know, because I feel like this project like cohesively, production, wise, flow, real, seamlessly, and then like just even the topics that he spoke on you know reflect, you know, different perspectives of like um just individuals like from from the place that he come from, you know so, but um, I mean, he got a handful of records.

Speaker 2:

Uh, rigor mortis, like that was him just straight, snappy, stupid, crazy, like yeah, I remember that song and um, it was just dope to see, like the different, you know, because obviously there's rappers that can snap on a beat like that, but he gave an example of that. But then he goes into like storytelling on, like tammy song, giving the perspective you know what's crazy.

Speaker 1:

I was about to ask you what's the only song on there. That was one of my favorite songs on that album giving different perspectives, like that.

Speaker 2:

You know, it's like it's just dope to hear, and then um, and then like f, you ethnicity, like just to start off with that statement, you know what I mean, because he's just all about unity for real. So it's like F, whether you Asian, latino, black, like F, all that, you know we all human type shit, right, so, but yeah, there's also a lot of vibe records like just some good shows. Who like hold up.

Speaker 1:

That's my favorite song off that album. Yeah, that's my favorite song. That's my shit.

Speaker 2:

That joint is just like Vibe Straight up. Yeah, that's my shit. But it's also dope because he got all the members except for J-Rock, but he got Schoolboy and he got Ad Soul on it and Ad Soul, his outro, was dope as hell. Like it's just like a like a jazz beat and all that going on in the background.

Speaker 2:

he's just it's almost like spoken word that he's like poetry yeah, but just what he's speaking on, because I think that episode was real dope. It's just that sometimes with folk that's real good with spoken word, it doesn't translate necessarily as like good music, because it's so like, it's so wordy you know what I'm saying. It's so deep that it's like you sometimes can't enjoy the music like that because so many words that you try to press right. But yeah, man, this is my introduction to Kendra.

Speaker 2:

For real, I didn't check out mixtape Kendra like that you know this was like a it was album, but more street album so before this album you said this is your introduction to him.

Speaker 1:

So have you heard of him before this, or is this? Yeah, I haven't heard. Oh, like.

Speaker 2:

Did you know of his?

Speaker 1:

existence like did you know?

Speaker 2:

like k dot or kendrick, or nah, this was like my real introduction, so what made you listen to this like? Was it like it was?

Speaker 1:

booming. It was booming. At the time. You were like, let me get this guy a try.

Speaker 2:

I'm trying to think I feel like I heard that high power record somehow I don't know if it's on like a blog site or something that like featured it, you know. Um, then I checked out the mixtape that had that had the heart, and that was dope too, you know. So Right, yeah, man. So yeah, kendrick Lamar 680, man, make sure y'all go check it out, if you haven't done so already.

Speaker 1:

Out Monday, so we always ask around this time. Have you heard all the Kendrick's projects? Album-wise, I would say yeah, but not like next day. I always ask around this time. Have you heard all the Kendrick's projects? Um, I want to say yeah, but not like if we were to, if we were to just say the projects and we add section 80, where would section 80 sit?

Speaker 2:

Um dang, that's a tough one, man. The section 80 really is a dope ad project. Um, damn a section 80 will use a go bad project. Damn that's tough on my.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I think that which favorite Kendrick O'Malley y'all gonna check in. I say probably three, three or four, three or four, and that's not saying that it's bad, that's just Jameez is dope. He has a dope line of projects and it's true.

Speaker 2:

See, it's crazy because I feel like the other albums have better production, but it's almost like he got the bigger budget, you know what I'm saying. So it was still dope and it's almost like using what he had at the time. Right, I mean so right well, that's what's up.

Speaker 1:

Man, I made the day um. So dj talk. Last but not least, um. So I feel like I already know your answer, but I'm gonna ask you anyway, and I think this is a question you brought up off air, but I thought we should bring it to the podcast, so I'm going to just ask the question and y'all can answer it whenever or do y'all want to. Did y'all have y'all support of y'all parents with DJing?

Speaker 3:

Y'all know that. Y'all already know the answer to that one.

Speaker 1:

That's what I said.

Speaker 2:

I feel like I knew the way, as you're letting it pose Y'all already know, I know my mama at everything.

Speaker 3:

If she can make it, she going to be there.

Speaker 2:

Nah, for sure she supports him with anything he does, and he's a really fighter. Yeah, you know what I'm saying. I'm talking about like but his mama's so hard with it. It be stuff on Instagram and she tag him know what I'm saying and, like you know, that's where that support right, right, I ain't, yeah, my parents, I don't even know if they know how to tag folk so my joint, uh, I'll.

Speaker 1:

I'll say I'm somewhere in the middle. I'm not saying that they didn't support me, because that would be a complete lie, because I remember one christmas, one christmas that, um, that dj that dj's can't have in my room.

Speaker 2:

They bought me that which you talking about, the one with the turnstile yeah, they bought me that.

Speaker 1:

They bought me that one christmas. I forgot what christmas that was, but um, yeah, they bought me that. How old you were, I don't remember, somewhere between 18 and you know now so like college college age.

Speaker 1:

Well, it was definitely after college, okay, when I came back, so probably like 19, 2021, some shit, somewhere around that time. But yeah, I will say that but my parents were still like wanting me to get like jobs and shit like that. Like they still wanted me to get a job. They still wanted me to because they didn't see, they didn't see the vision. But at the same time I wasn't good with communication, with, like what I want to do and all that stuff. I just was like look, I'm gonna figure it out. It's either y'all with me or not gonna figure it out.

Speaker 3:

It's either y'all, y'all with me or not, and yeah, I mean.

Speaker 1:

But yeah, they still wanted me to get day jobs and we had to fucking like. When I was a young adult I still had a curfew and I'm like bro, they get mad at me because like I'm djing and like goddamn I'm coming home at three, four in the morning, but I'm like, I'm working like it's just it's just funny knowing you tarno because you just like so straightforward you couldn't.

Speaker 2:

So I can just imagine you're just like all right. Yeah, you guys don't support me, or not? Okay, cool, you know cool, all right.

Speaker 1:

Well, because I mean, I know my parents. Well, I already had a perception of my parents that it was like it's either what they say or what it's either what they say or I got to go somewhere else. That was my perception of my parents and I was like, okay, well, they're not going to listen to me anyway. So I mean, make it happen, just have to make it happen. And there were some weird times and shit it still made it happen. Some weird times and shit it still may happen. But you know, I won't say they just didn't completely. I didn't want to say just fuck DJing or nothing like that, but they definitely wanted me to. You know, find other stuff to do.

Speaker 3:

People don't really think DJing's a real job for real man. Yeah, they just think it's just something to do.

Speaker 1:

Right, but shit, we make good money off this shit right yeah facts what's not good?

Speaker 2:

floor is yours. I mean you know, I mean you need to find a proper career. Yeah, um, I'm not gonna say they totally hate it, but like they want me to get it, what's that, what's that color?

Speaker 3:

you want you to be a white collar what is y'all getting?

Speaker 2:

what?

Speaker 1:

is this from? Where is this white collar shit from?

Speaker 3:

It's just a job that you gotta wear suits and shit.

Speaker 1:

So basically, what 20 wants to do. No, he literally said that he wants to get a cubicle job. He said at 30 he's wrapping up the DJing.

Speaker 2:

Once you say that, you make me think of the doctor, dr Franklin.

Speaker 1:

Nah, that's Driscoll. I don't know where the fuck he got that. I don't know where the fuck he found this nigga at.

Speaker 2:

But um, but um, what's that? Like a 301K, what's that? Oh, 401k, yeah, that, you know, gets you a pension, uh, health insurance and all that like, and I don't know, I get it, um, but I don't know. We also live in like a different industry, you know. So it's like like we, compared to other, I would say, but I don't know, I just just the entertainment industry in general, like it's one of them things where it's a little more risky, but then it's like we could be broke, broke, broke and then one day, but then it's like we could be broke, broke, broke and then one day up Like big you know what I'm saying Like all it takes is that one.

Speaker 2:

You feel me so I don't know, and then it's like I enjoy doing it. You feel me Like at a corporate job. It's like it's not as flexible in terms of you know, because our joint, like random things will pop up just like oh, can you do this? Like you know right. And it's like with corporate job you're not really able to do that. You know, like if you had to pop out of town, you got to ask them folks like is it okay, or you know, and you know, it's just well, little do'all know.

Speaker 1:

I don't know if y'all know this or not, but in certain DJ jobs they do give health insurance and they do give 401Ks. I got that at Go Rush. Shout out to Go Rush.

Speaker 3:

So shout out to Go Rush. You got health insurance through Go Rush. Yeah and 401K.

Speaker 2:

What? Yeah, yeah, I didn't know about that. That's hard though, yeah, yep.

Speaker 1:

I tried to get him a peaches man. Where had he?

Speaker 2:

been Bro. He had a.

Speaker 1:

Nah, honestly, it wasn't nobody's fault. Honestly, it really wasn't nobody's fault. But nah, it was Shit. It looked like he was having a good time. Remember it looked like he was having a good time. Remember they was like yeah, bro, we want to hear that anti, that baby drill that nigga drill was up there having a ball.

Speaker 3:

He was like what I can play, what that nigga 20 was in there playing clean.

Speaker 1:

I ain't going to lie, I had fun with y'all. That was an interesting-ass night. I ain't going to lie, he was definitely on the tamer side. 20 I ain't gonna lie, he was definitely on the tamer side. 20 was kind of just funny he was playing all that fucking.

Speaker 2:

It's just funny because I know what PC's at. That's like some real West Side shit and I can only imagine 20 going in there.

Speaker 1:

No, but this is a perspective, right? So he's playing Baby Drill, anti Jeezy, gucci 20 goes on. He plays like what's Poppin' Jack Harlow? Or like, or like. Uh, what's the walk of flunk? It's a bounce it, bounce it.

Speaker 2:

Or my B-low, my bass low.

Speaker 1:

My B-low, my bass low. Like shit like that, and it's just maybe I want a white shirt but I feel like the west side on some like yeah no, what he's playing. Yeah, yeah, basically, but no, yeah, but you, um, yeah, I think that's about it. What?

Speaker 1:

but clean music at the strip club, no clean music at the on the west side is crazy, like not even the strip club, because look, I know certain strip clubs djs be like broadcasting from the radio and all that. So I get that. But the west side I don't know, that's a little I don't think. I don't think the radio people go to the west side. I don't know, that's me though I don't think so.

Speaker 2:

Wow bro, I remember the bartender was talking about like. She even plugged in over there, like you, famous, or I just I don't know where. I just feel like they're drunk ratchet. Oh, very much so, so, very much so um and then just the folk that I didn't pick up. From there I can only imagine.

Speaker 1:
